How much time does a site visit take?
It depends on the complexity and size of your organisation. A large organisation, for example a large hospital, would be approx. 2 days. Smaller organisations could be as little as 4 hours.
What do you require during your site visit?
Access to all areas during usual working hours, to your records (QA records, for example), to your customers and to your staff. We provide our own protective clothing and measuring instruments.
Do we know when you'll be auditing?
No, food service personnel generally do not know in advance when an audit is scheduled because we want to observe "normal" activity. We usually arrange timing of audits with organisation managers outside of food services.
How often should we have an audit?
Some organisations audit once a year, others once every two months, and others in- between. Frequency usually depends on the complexity of the food service (more complex, more frequent audits) and whether or not audit results are good (less frequent requirement for audits) or poor (more frequent audits are indicated).
What does it cost?
All our work is based on an hourly rate that is benchmarked to local rates. The longer a job takes, the more costly it is. A better question is "Are you good value?" - our clients think we are.
